Internationality

Internationality is particularly emphasized at the Institute of Mathematics.

The Institute of Mathematics in Würzburg offers a wide range of summer  and  winter schools both for PhD and Postdoc, with the goal to implement collaborations between the new generations of mathematicians.

Furthermore, the Institute of Mathematics supports an international background through the established "Master Mathematics International" degree program as well as the Giovanni Prodi Visiting Professorship, which allows to invite each semester renowned scientific personalities from abroad.

It goes without saying that the Institute of Mathematics maintains worldwide excellent contacts with many institutes, which facilitates the important networking within the research community particularly for graduates.

The Institute of Mathematics also provides various exchange programs  both for bachelor's and master's studies.
