Movie "Le théorème de Marguerite" at the cinema Central in Würzburg followed by a panel discussion moderated by Prof. Dr. Madeleine Jotz and Dr. Gregor Schaumann.
On June 15, 2024, at 17:30, the film "Le théorème de Marguerite" will be shown in French with German subtitles at the Würzburg Cinema Central. Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Madeleine Jotz and Dr. Gregor Schaumann will moderate a panel discussion on the clichés that may be used in the film. They will also address the issue of power structures in research, and ultimately talk about the sometimes difficult but incredibly fulfilling creative process of mathematical research.
