Please note that the number of participants is limited. We will contact successful applicants by E-mail as early as possible, but latest in the week following the application deadline.

The application deadline for taking part in the school is July 15, 2019

Applications will only be handled electronically. Please make sure to enter a valid E-mail address and check your mailbox (including spam folder) regularly. On request, we will be happy to provide you with an invitation letter for visa purposes.

Poster session

We kindly invite you to participate at the poster session. After your successful application we will ask for a title and abstract of your poster contribution. If you contribute a poster you can get parts of the fee refunded after the school.

Expenses and Fee

The school is financed by the Volkswagen Foundation. We can cover the local expenses (hotel)  and contribute in a significant part to the travel expenses. During the school we provide lunch and dinner as well as coffee breaks.

The fee for the Autumnschool is 150,00 €. With this fee we will cover expenses not taken care of by the Volkswagen Foundation.

Feedback on acceptance latest until July 22, 2019
Payment of participation fee until August 09, 2019

Requirements

The Fall School is for PhD students and Postdocs. All presentations and discussions will be in English.

Attention

Please be prepared to pay the participation fee after receiving an acceptance letter (banking information will be given in the acceptance letter).
