Oberseminar Mathematik in den Naturwissenschaften: Jesse Ratzkin, Compactness of constant Q-curvature metrics on punctured spheres

Abstract:

The Q-curvature of a Riemannian metric is a fourth-order variant of the scalar curvature, and so much of the recent theory of Q-curvature mimics the established scalar curvature theory. We discuss a variant of the singular Yamabe problem and some compactness results about moduli spaces. This is joint work with João Henrique Andrade and João Marcos do Ó.
