Oberseminar Mathematik in den Naturwissenschaften: Sourav Mitra, Control of a compressible FSI model

I will talk about a result on the control of a compressible FSI model in a 2d channel. I will first introduce the notion of controllability of a PDE and motivate an equivalent criteria for controlling a dynamical system. In the second part of the talk I will introduce a FSI model coupling a compressible fluid and a damped elastic structure appearing at the boundary. Then I will explain my result on the controllability of the same.
