Mathematics: Pure, Applied and Beyond

The Institute of Mathematics at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg offers the study programme  Master in Mathematics International, a master programme covering all areas of pure and applied mathematics present at the institute. The focus of the programme is to engage the students very early in their career into research oriented questions. The communication among students in seminars and RiGs will be a central aspect of the programme. The institute offers excellent study conditions including a rich library, very personal supervision in small groups, and an internationally experienced team of professors, assistants and staff members. The Institute of Mathematics is organized into twenty chairs and professorships, each offering specific lectures, seminars and RiGs for the international master. During the master thesis the students will participate intensely in the daily life of the research groups.
