stimulates and promotes cooperation and the exchange of ideas in research and teaching within the Institute of Mathematics and the JMU,
invites internationally leading mathematicians and promising young scientists in mathematics to collaborate,
offers space for intensive engagement with current research questions in pure and applied mathematics,
helps with its outreach program to increase students‘ enthusiasm for mathematics.
