About #YoungScientists

The #YoungScientists program supports young researchers in mathematics who have excelled in their previous qualification level (Master's or doctorate). The WMCCI provides them with a stimulating atmosphere in which to prepare for their next career step (doctorate or qualification for a junior research group leader or professorship).

Mathematics thrives on the interplay between intensive own research and the exchange with others. For this reason, the research topic should always enable contact and exchange with other junior researchers at the WMCCI or at the Institute for Mathematics at JMU.

How to apply?

Applicants should submit (in English)

• a curriculum vitae including a list of publications and a list of talks,
• degree certificates and transcript of records,
• a list of outstanding mathematicians who can provide information about the applicant
